So a while ago I watched Princess Tutu and turned out liking the series far more than expected. Especially Fakir and Ahiru.. really, you simply can't dislike these two! >//< And I also like them together <3 So this happened.
Princess Tutu motivated me to give different poses a try. Ballet has quite a few nice things to choose from! And here we are - they dance a pas de deux together.
They aren't supposed to dance it perfectly. Ahiru isn't perfect at ballet. And that's fine.Besides that is also a good excuse in case I drew something horribly wrong here
I also thought about drawing Princess Tutu as such, but decided that I rather wanted to have... them. Princess Tutu isn't really Ahiru to me.
Last but not least I got a liking of colorful lineart. Which also has an impact on my overall coloring style. o: And which also makes my coloring style softer and more pastel-like... or at least that happens with green as it seems. Hopefully you don't mind as I might do this more often from now on! ouo

First, I totally adore this couple *-* And I love Princess Tutu! I really think you drew the characters well and in character of the anime ( even Fakir's kind of grumpy smile is still a bit grumpy here xD )
The poses are done well, I can imagine Ahiru managing this pose, especially since she showed she can do it already in the anime. I don't think it looks wrong, the only thing a bit off is her left arm ( from our view ) but that rather because of the dress, the one arm has a thin arm and the other looks much wider somehow? ^^" I think the perspective is a bit the problem here... the arm generally could have been a bit smaller and thiner, since it's in the back. I like how you drew Ahirus dress though, because especially the skirt isn't easy to get right |D
Fakir looks good standing behind her, I think you got the perspective part better there x3
The coloured lineart gives the whole drawing a softer and more dreamy look x3 I always adore the way you colour your traditional drawings *-* Here you made it extraordinary soft and pastell like though ^^ The background with the pastell chalk fits well to the drawing and keeps the focus on the characters :3 Very good job Ama! And a very worth fanart for this amazing anime ;3
