Amalika Cooney :: Reference Sheet

[Edit January 2016]: Quite a while ago I made a poll about changing Amalika's color scheme. I decided against it, but made some minor tweaks. Thanks for all the suggestons <3 What I eventually changed: Added two details, changed her hair to a more brown-ish tone, general tweaks to her ref sheet, updated description below.

Ahaha... not even 2 whole years an there she gets another reference sheet! Sorry for not being sorry. But I wanted to anthro-fy her and while I was at it, I altered her outfit to look more interesting and her old color scheme still bugged me and I... more or less drastically changed that, too! x'D (Thanks to ArticaArtes for helping me decide on that!) SHE ALSO HAS A PROPER LAST NAME. I also added a bag she can use to actually carry things around and explained her Flying Device in more detail. Her character sheet is also slightly altered! All in all I prefer her new looks over the old one So hopefully you can get used to it as well! If you prefer to draw her in Sonic-style, I don't mind if you still draw her like this, though: Although it would be cool if you used the new color scheme!

Back Story:

Amalika is the younger child and the only girl in her family which is why she’s sometimes been spoiled by her father. Always being an outright child, she was able to get along with most people, even if her adventurous and curious personality often got (and still gets) her in trouble. She would never admit it, but her clever and talented brother Sinistra is her role-model. He was always there when she needed him, but as siblings are, they had and still have quarrels about the tiniest things.

One day she has been trying to find Pain who she has a huge crush on. He went into the forest at the outskirts of Zephynd. Instead of Pain she found a little hurt dragon who she took care of and who has a dear place in her heart ever since then. Taking him home and caring for him, this little dragon soon got better. She didn’t know what to name him first, but because he was kind of a lucky charm for her and because he was lucky she found him, she gave him the name “Lucky”.

Her curiosity and clumsiness are about to get her in a bigger adventure than she has hoped for.
